Offer qualifications: This limited-time offer is available only to individuals who currently do not have a Compass personal checking account. This offer is limited to one gift per household and cannot be combined with any other special offer. U.S. residents of states other than Alabama and Texas, individuals under the age of 18 (19 in Alabama) and Compass Bank employees are not eligible.

Opening your account: All checking accounts are opened subject to approval. You must register for this offer online before opening a Compass Build-to-Order Free Checking account. Minimum $25 deposit required. See the terms of our checking accounts, including any annual percentage yield. In order to qualify you must register for this offer online, then complete an online account application or visit a branch and open a new Compass Build-to-Order Free Checking account within 30 days. All accounts must be opened or applied for by June 30, 2008. To qualify, you must follow all of the steps exactly as described in our offer and meet all of these terms and conditions. The information you provide in registering for this offer must match the information used to open the new Compass checking account. We will accept one registration per household. If multiple registrations are received, only the first registrant will be accepted if terms and conditions are met. Others registrations from household do not qualify.

Receiving your bonus: After opening your new Compass personal checking account, go to www.compassbank.com/go/fifty within 30 days of registering for this offer to complete step 3 and claim your gift. Compass Bank will verify that the account was opened and does not have a negative balance. If you do not qualify, you will receive a denial e-mail from Compass Bank. If the account has a negative balance, Compass Bank will allow the applicant seven business days to remedy the issue in order to qualify for the gift or the offer is void. The verification process takes approximately 90 days from the time you claim the gift. Once approved, your $50 will be deposited into your checking account. You will also receive an email from Compass Bank informing you of the deposit.

By requesting $50 gift you acknowledge that Compass Bank may report the value of the gift to the IRS if required by law.
